Canada’s CO2 emissions are up well over 20% as measured against 1990. Even more embarrassing: our emissions grew more than the US by about 10%.
Further, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Britain and Germany all showed significant decreases, while still maintaining economic growth (lower than ours).

Canada’s GDP is up over 100% during that same time period – that’s a tremendous increase in efficiency if you look at it that way.
