“Myths about India and Climate Change”

  1. On November 30th, 2009 at 10:25 am Randy Says:

I’m not surprised that “developing” countries are planning ahead and building sustainable infrastructure. Especially in countries with very high population densities like China and India, the effects of air and water pollution are obvious.

So why are we facing a renewed backlash against environmentalism in the US? People are saying that if Al Gore’s dire predictions in 2005′s Inconvenient Truth had any truth to them, we should all be dead by now. Global Warming’s supporters have been likened to religious fanatics in a doomsday cult. There are still senators that claim it’s a hoax, like Y2K!

How can we ever save the world when half the people don’t see any danger?
