I’m very interested in trying out solar but am hesitant to invest in a full home install, given we don’t know how many more years we’ll be in our current home. I’ve posted an article on some ideas for small-scale solar setups here: How To Go Solar Without A Huge Investment.

Sounds interesting. Do you have links to websites selling solar power kits? Do you recommend any particular vendors? Where do I go from here?

Good questions. I’ve been hesitant to put up links to vendors since I haven’t used any online yet, I’ve bought all my items at local stores. But, I’ve been looking at this one lately: http://www.modernoutpost.com/. They seem to have a lot of options. Also, Amazon seems to have good selection too, even if just for price comparison.
